The hackathon and side program will both take place at the design studio of IXDS, Germany’s leading Service Design studio.

We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. Q&A
No. Most participants join as individuals and form teams with other participants. You can join as a team but we restrict teams to maximum 3 people. We have limited capacity and want to aim for a diverse group of participants.
DO I NEED A TEAM?
No. The Sketch Plugin Hackathon welcomes people of all backgrounds including science, design, business and anything else! The only requirement is the drive to create!
DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO CODE?
Yes! Because of our partnership with Sketch, we’re able to make the event free for all attendees. We also take care of food and drinks during the days. However, you must still apply and be accepted as we have a limited number of spots.
IS THE EVENT FREE?
No, but we encourage you to! On the first day you have the possibility to pitch an idea or pain point you've been thinking about for years, or something last minute you think of during the event. Everyone gets 60 seconds to pitch their idea.
DO I ALREADY NEED A PLUGIN IDEA?
Participants are expected to make there own residency and transportation arrangements. We have some hotel recommendations close to the venue that we’ll share with the selected participants.
DO YOU PROVIDE ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE?
The most important thing is your laptop with Sketch installed, your charger, dongles, and of course lots of creative energy. Other useful (but not necessary) things: notebook, pen/pencil, business cards and a water bottle.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
The full schedule is only available to participants.
WHERE CAN I FIND THE SCHEDULE?
All participants are expected to attend both Friday and Saturday — this is when all the action happens!
WHAT IF I CAN’T ATTEND BOTH DAYS?
